Argovia Finca Resort attracts guests because of
the incredible natural beauty of the area, coupled with
the breathtaking views from the resort of the surrounding
mountains and Pacific Ocean.
The Argovia Coffee Plantation dates back to 1880, when a
Swiss family settled in the area and began growing coffee
here. In the 19th century, the plantation was sold to
Adolf Giesemann and now belongs to the fourth generation
of the same family.
Due to a fall in the price of coffee a few decades back,
the owners decided to diversify their products and
started growing other crops, such as fruit trees and
tropical flowers. Later, the plantation opened for
tourism offering accommodations, dining options, and
leisure activities, as well as ecological activities to
help preserve the region’s unique flora and fauna.
